their faith and call them to embrace Shiite
sect ,and therefore we see through this
initiative as a very dangerous phenomenon
affect kurds future in Syria and from all of

cautions and not drawn to this serious
conspiracy against their region which aims
building husseiniyeh inside kurds city , M.r

project does not aim to spread only shiism
in the region and among kurds people , but

is the onley one of the Islamic doctrine
which states their hostility and
companionship or gets marriage from kurds ,

make Imamite Shiite live under the shadow
and protection of Alalawit sect with
forgetting another section which is
important and it is that the regime does not
forgive if they mix religion in politic ,and

experience of our muslim brother in Syria ,
actually ,religious rights of Imamite Shiite
are respectable and he is desirous to
guarantee the loyalty of various religious
charity for him , in spite of the regime
secularism ideologism , due to the opinion
of internationalism group for emergency
dealing , for compensation the crispness of
his popularity support .
Demographic / religious situation :
It is not easy to reliance on accurate
statistics about the number of religious
groups in Syria because of the sensitivity
of the authority towards this information ,
but the report of( religious freedom in the
world ) for 2006 year which issued by
American ministry of foreign affairs , it
referred to that Shiite and Alawiite are
about 13 % of Syrian inhabitants or about
2.2 million of the total population which
amounts to 18 million people , the report
,which issued from ibn Alkhaldon centre for
development studies in Cairo 2005 , it
referred that Shiite representing about (1)
percentage of population number , while
Alawiite form 8-9 percentage , while Shiite
issued on the internet , that Syrian Shiite
represent about (2 ) percentage of total
population , and Syrian oppositional sources
in the abroad confirm that alawiite number
doesn't exceed (6) percentage of its
population , in addition to Arabic Shiite
citizens , also lives on Syria lands Iranian
community (Shiite ) which most of them
centered in Damascus and there are a lot of
Iraqi Shiite who had come to the country
since seventeenth and eighteenth century who
escaped from the brutality of previous
Iraqian regime and in 2003 their number
decreases after the invasion of its
territory , as a result of instability and
insecurity and sectarian strife in their
country , official number refer that there
are 1-2 million of Iraqi refugee ( of all
sects and ethnic groups ) in Syrian
territory united nation , appreciated the
number of Iraq refugee about 8000 thousands
, and most of Iraq Shiite centered in Mrs.
Zeyneb region , which is in north of the
capital Damascus , and some Syrian Shiite
resides in some Damascus streets and many
Aleppo and hums village , and most Shiite
are centered in Alamin section , and the
section name are called so , due to the
scholar Mr.mohsin alamir alhuseyni alamli
who died in 1371 and buried near Zenbiyeh
eternal , for his scientific prestigious .
We find many mosques in this street as , Ali
bin abi taleb , Azahraa mosque , Almohsniyeh
school , and in Syria there are the main
Shiite pilgrimage – the shrine of Mrs.zeyneb
which it is visited by the gulf , Iran ,
Iraq Shiites and second shrine after Mrs .
zeyneb shrine is for Mrs. ruqaya daughter of
Alimam huseyn shrine which is near Omawi
mosque and other Shiite shrines .
The shrine of Mrs.sakinah and Mrs. Om
kalthom , they are daughters of lhusayn .
Shiite in Syria don’t follow onley one
traditional repertory , they run between
Ayatollah Ali Alsistani tradition ,which is
in Anajaf and Ayatoolah Ali khomayni , the
supreme leader in Iran and the report
Mr.Muhammed huseyn fedlolah in Lebanon.
Social \ political actuality :
In general , there is no discrimination
against Shiite community , they are
integrated in the society , and relationship
of marriage happened between them , most
Syrian Shiite are of Arabs origin , and the
most famous families are Nizam , Mortada ,
Baidun and ALromani , and there are members
of Shiite families who received high
position ,such as the former minister of
information Mehdi dekhlelah , Syrian
businessman Saeb hasan , he is also from
Shiite family , with regard to the political
situation , Syrian government based on the
one party system , therefore law prohibits
for the establishment of political parties
which does not have private political
formation , because the system emphasize on
the separation between politic and religion

Shiism :
